Workshop 2: Effective Interactions

Under pressure to perform and with a strong memory of how they achieved success as individual contributors, frontline managers can often get involved in more of their team's tasks than is beneficial.

Teams quickly feel disempowered, and interactions become steeped in drama when they perceive their manager as simply instructing them to "do as they did". Ultimately, this approach erodes the team cohesion, it adds workload to the manager and increases the pressure to perform. This workshop enables leaders to build trust and negate drama when it emerges.

Focus: Communication and team dynamics

  • Understanding how to create winning teams
  • Fostering Trust: Using the "Speed of Trust" framework to build and maintain trust.
  • Drama and Empowerment Dynamics: Identify and shift from toxic interactions.

Outcomes

Greater willingness to be vulnerable and authentic.

Reduced drama.

Enhanced team cohesion and morale through trust, leading to accelerated results.
